Christmas events at the Community Libraries

Crofton Park

Crofton Park Christmas Fayre on 4th December from noon till 4 p.m
Christmas trees will also be on sale from this date for three weeks on the days the library is open.

Grove Park

Craft Events - Christmas tree decorations and cardmaking on 13th and 15th December from 3:30 p.m. till 5 p.m.

Children's Christmas Party on 16th December at Grove Park Community Library followed by a get together for staff, volunteer and friends of Grove Park Community Library.

Affinity Sutton gets connected with Eco Libraries with Senior Citizen's I.T. Training

Today was the first training session for Affinity Sutton senior citizens in the new training suite at the Pepys Resource Centre.

When asked what Eco Libraries planned to use the CommunityForce award for, Darren Taylor, CEO of Eco Computer Systems says,"This would go far in installing a simple cafe in two of the libraries, the other library we have won funding for already. Two good coffee machines, fridges, latte, coffee and tea cups, a few tables and chairs. A cafe will really make these libraries for more people to use them. We recently installed a cafe into my independent library in Deptford and it is bringing in more customers, especially mothers and babies and the elderly."

Book Sale 10 September 2011

There will be a Book Sale at The Capitol ,the Weatherspoons pub near Forest Hill Station on 10 September 2011. The sale will be held between 11am and 5pm.

Pepys Resource Centre Coffee Club

During the summer, on Tuesday afternoons the Pepys Resource Centre will be holding a Coffee Club at 1 p.m. All ages welcome so if the kids are at home, bring them along too!

Pepys Resource Centre Senior Citizens

From 12 August the Senior Citizens' Club at the Pepys Resource Centre will be moved from Thursdays to Fridays.

The second week of children's activities at the libraries is pop up card making.
